Will I need to place anything between the tank base and my cabinet?

We recommend using polystyrene under your tank if no other protection is in place. We build most of our larger tanks with a protective wooden support which protects the base from chips, scratches and other damage.

Does my cabinet or floor have to be level?

Yes! we highly recommend you have a professional build your cabinet or we supply a Fit Filtration cabinet built to support and designed for aquarium use. If the cabinet is not even this will apply huge stress levels to the aquarium which can lead to glass failure and broken base which if the cabinet base is found to be a fault any warranty will be void.

Floors must also be as level as possible and also able to support the weight of the full aquarium which can weigh up to 3 tonnes.
